The Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer at the Neue Galerie, NYC

I was able to see this week at a small gallery in NYC, the famous painting the Woman in Gold by the austrian painter Gustav Klimt.

The significance of this painting expose at the Neue Galerie of New York is huge, no no...it's immense.

The long trip of the Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer (real name of the painting) coming from Vienna's Belvedere Gallery to the Neue Galerie in Manhattan it's such a wonderful story about history, justice and strength.

This is a story that needs to be read or watched before going to see the painting.

The movie the Woman in Gold, starring Helen Mirren as Maria Altmann and Ryan Reynolds as her lawyer is such a good story. Try to watch it before going to see the painting, it makes such s difference. It make you feel like been in front of a piece of history.

The Neue Galerie is located in 1048 Fifth Avenue (two blocks from The Metropolitan Museum ).

P.S.: the Museum is free the first friday of each month.

Enjoy your day, see you tomorrow.
